Pakistan Business Council Sharjah (PBCS) successfully organized a Hi-Tech UAE E-Invoicing – Knowledge & Networking Session on Saturday, 14 February 2026, at Holiday International Hotel, focusing on preparedness for the mandatory UAE E-Invoicing framework 2026.
The session brought together business leaders, professionals, and entrepreneurs to gain insights into the upcoming digital transformation and its implications for corporate tax and VAT compliance.
The event commenced with registration and networking, followed by a welcome address by Dr. Shafiq ur Rehman, who also served as the Master of Ceremonies.
The keynote presentation was delivered by Mr. Muhammad Farooq, Managing Partner at Mubarak Al Ketbi Chartered Accountants and Ministry of Economy–approved auditor, who provided an in-depth briefing on UAE E-Invoicing updates, CT & VAT implications, compliance requirements, and implementation readiness.
An interactive Q&A session allowed participants to engage directly with the speaker, addressing practical challenges faced by businesses.
This was followed by a business networking session led by Syed Saleem Akhtar, Senior Vice Chairman PBCS, emphasizing collaboration, shared growth, and future business opportunities among members.
The session concluded with closing remarks by Dr. Shafiq ur Rehman, thanking participants and speakers, followed by a group photograph and informal networking over refreshments.
