Combining skills development, financial literacy, interactive learning, and community engagement, the initiatives reflected the emirate\u2019s commitment to investing in people and enhancing quality of life.<\/p>\n<p>The Department\u2019s programmes achieved a 99% participant satisfaction rate, reflecting the quality of the content, effective organisation, and the positive response from target audiences. The two training programmes delivered a combined 22 training hours, complemented by an interactive community event that brought together children, young people, and families.<\/p>\n<p>The \u2018Abacus Challenge Camp\u2019 offered an engaging educational experience focused on developing children\u2019s mental arithmetic, logical thinking, concentration, and analytical skills. Delivered over 12 training hours, the camp benefited 39 children through practical activities and mental challenges designed to combine learning with an enjoyable and stimulating experience.<\/p>\n<p>The Department also delivered the \u2018Ajman Mal Plus\u2019 programme, comprising 10 training hours and designed to strengthen financial literacy among school students. The programme introduced 26 participants to key concepts, including saving, investing, and budgeting, and explored the use of artificial intelligence in financial planning. At the conclusion of the programme, students presented five projects that demonstrated their ability to apply the knowledge and skills acquired and translate them into practical ideas.<\/p>\n<p>Complementing these educational initiatives, the \u2018Play It Right!\u2019 event attracted 162 participants and created an interactive community experience centred on positive competition, family engagement, and enjoyment. The event featured a range of activities and games inspired by Emirati heritage, strengthening family interaction and community participation while bringing cultural heritage to life through an engaging format suited to different age groups.<\/p>\n<p><strong>HE Marwan Ahmed Al Ali, Director General of the Department of Finance in Ajman<\/strong>, affirmed that the Department\u2019s participation in \u2018Our Happy Summer 2026\u2019 reflects its commitment to expanding its community impact and creating meaningful experiences that invest in the potential of children and young people while developing their skills and knowledge: \u201cWe are proud of the results achieved through our participation in \u2018Our Happy Summer 2026\u2019 and the strong engagement our programmes received from participants across different age groups. We focused on creating experiences that combine knowledge, skills, and enjoyment while strengthening financial awareness, developing individual capabilities, and fostering stronger community connections. This reflects our belief that investing in people forms the foundation of a more sustainable future.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He added: \u201cThe level of engagement we witnessed, together with the ideas and projects presented by students, highlights the value of creating opportunities for younger generations to learn, experiment, and innovate. These efforts support the objectives of Ajman Vision 2030 by contributing to an inclusive, cohesive, and empowered society, enhancing quality of life, and fostering innovation and social responsibility.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Department of Finance in Ajman reaffirmed that its participation forms part of its wider commitment to community development and its continued efforts to deliver flagship initiatives that make productive use of the summer holiday through learning, skills development, awareness, and positive engagement.
