More than 100 years old, the houses were carefully restored to preserve their original Emirati architecture and cultural character while being adapted for contemporary hospitality. Among them is the former home of Ibrahim Bin Mohammed Al Midfa, a prominent figure in Sharjah\u2019s history, which today houses a museum and library documenting the history of the emirate and his contributions to its development.<\/p>\n<p>The Middle East\u2019s Leading Boutique Resort title gives the property regional recognition within its category, while the Sharjah\u2019s Leading Resort title extends an established record at emirate level.<\/p>\n<p>The Chedi Al Bait, Sharjah was named <a href=\"https:\/\/www.worldtravelawards.com\/award-sharjahs-leading-resort-2025\">Sharjah\u2019s Leading Resort in 2023, 2024 and 2025<\/a>, making the 2026 award its fourth consecutive win in the category.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Chedi Grand Suite extends winning streak to seven years<br \/>\n<\/strong>The Chedi Grand Suite was named Sharjah\u2019s Leading Hotel Suite 2026, marking its <a href=\"https:\/\/www.worldtravelawards.com\/award-sharjahs-leading-hotel-suite-2025\">seventh consecutive World Travel Awards win in the category<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The suite has held the title every year since 2020. The latest award extends one of The Chedi Al Bait\u2019s, Sharjah longest-running distinctions and adds to the property\u2019s wider recognition in the 2026 awards.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Four awards across distinct tourism categories<br \/>\n<\/strong>The four World Travel Awards titles span nature tourism, boutique hospitality, resorts and premium accommodation, giving Shurooq recognition across distinct parts of its tourism and hospitality portfolio.
