Dubai (Staff Reporter): The National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) and Al Fardan Exchange organized a special event in Dubai to pay tribute to overseas Pakistanis, distribute gifts among workers, and raise awareness about the Pasbaan Remittance Reward Scheme.\"\"
\nOverseas Pakistanis sent a total of US$3.6 billion in remittances to Pakistan during September, marking a significant milestone. Pakistani expatriates living in the United Arab Emirates also continued to play a vital role in strengthening Pakistan\u2019s economy through their financial contributions.\"\"
\nThe Government of Pakistan has introduced the Pasbaan Remittance Reward Scheme to recognize the valuable services of overseas Pakistanis and encourage them to send remittances through legal and official channels. In this connection, a colourful event was held in Dubai, where participants were appreciated for their contributions and gifts were distributed among workers.\"\"<\/p>\n

Speaking on the occasion, Junaid Murtaza, Welfare Attach\u00e9 at the Consulate of Pakistan in Dubai; Riyaz Hussain, Group Chief of the National Bank of Pakistan; and Rashid-ul-Islam Siddiqui shared their views on the importance of the Pasbaan Remittance Reward Scheme.
\nThe speakers said that the scheme is an important initiative to encourage overseas Pakistanis and recognize their contribution to the national economy. They emphasized that sending money to Pakistan through legal channels helps strengthen the country’s economy, increase foreign exchange reserves, and support national development.\"\"<\/p>\n

They further stated that overseas Pakistanis are a valuable asset to the country.
