Full-orchestra performances at Aljada will span blockbuster film scores, Japanese anime, Korean pop culture and Disney favourites
Three full-orchestra concerts will bring some of film, anime and animation’s most recognisable music to Aljada, Sharjah, during the Sharjah Animation & Comics Conference (SACC), taking place from October 22–25, 2026.
Opening the concert series on Thursday, October 22 at 9:00pm, “An Odyssey Through Iconic Film Scores” will take audiences through major film productions spanning adventure, fantasy, science fiction and musicals. The performance will feature music from Superman, Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Harry Potter, Jurassic Park, E.T., Pirates of the Caribbean, Mission: Impossible, The Greatest Showman and La La Land.
On Saturday, October 24 at 9:00pm, “Echoes of Fantasy” will celebrate music from Japanese anime and Korean pop culture, drawing from popular titles including Grendizer, Attack on Titan, Evangelion, KPop Demon Hunters, Lupin III, Yamato, My Neighbour Totoro and Ponyo.
The concert series will conclude on Sunday, October 25 at 9:00pm with “Once Upon a Disney Night,” featuring Disney favourites and music from other animated films. Audiences will hear selections from Beauty and the Beast, Hercules, Mulan, The Lion King, Tangled, Up, Aladdin, Cinderella, The Little Mermaid and Pocahontas, among others.
Concert access included in SACC passes
Access to the concerts is included with all SACC pass types, with no separate concert tickets required. Day Pass holders must have a pass valid for the date of the concert they wish to attend.
Admission will be on a first-come, first-served basis and subject to hall capacity, so attendees are advised to arrive early. Places for Premium Pass holders will remain reserved until 10 minutes before each concert begins. If the hall reaches capacity, audiences will still be able to watch the concert live on screens outside the hall.
