Dubai : The National Bank of Pakistan continues its awareness campaign regarding the Pasban Remittance Reward Scheme, which offers an annual allocation of PKR 16 billion for overseas Pakistanis. In this connection, a colourful event was organised in Dubai to inform expatriate Pakistanis about the scheme’s objectives, benefits, and the procedure for participating in it.
Speaking at the event, National Bank of Pakistan Group Chief Riaz Hussain and Dr. Zafar Tahir highlighted the importance of the Pasban Remittance Reward Scheme, describing it as an excellent initiative by the Government of Pakistan for overseas Pakistanis.
They stated that the scheme would encourage Pakistanis living abroad to send money to Pakistan through formal and authorised channels. This would help increase the country’s foreign exchange reserves and strengthen the national economy.
They further emphasised that overseas Pakistanis play a vital role in supporting Pakistan’s economy and expressed hope that the expatriate community would take full advantage of the scheme.
The event also featured outstanding performances by artists, who entertained the audience and received enthusiastic applause for their impressive presentations. In addition, various prizes were distributed through a lucky draw among participating guests and Pakistani workers, adding to the excitement and festivities.
The primary objective of the event was to raise awareness among overseas Pakistanis about the Pasban Remittance Reward Scheme and highlight the importance of sending remittances to Pakistan through official channels.
