Chairman of Emirates Gold tours Malabar’s Dubai operations as a decade-long partnership passes 650,000 minted bars
Dubai,
Malabar Gold & Diamonds welcomed His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Sultan bin Khalifa Al Nahyan, Chairman of Emirates Gold, to the Malabar International Hub (MIH) in Gold Souq, Dubai on Friday, 4 September.
The visit marked the decade-long relationship between Malabar Gold & Diamonds and Emirates Gold, one of the UAE’s most established precious metals refineries and an accredited UAE Good Delivery refiner. Over the years, the collaboration has grown into one of the region’s most significant industry partnerships, built on shared standards of quality, integrity and operational excellence.
Malabar Gold & Diamonds is the largest purchaser of Emirates Gold’s minted bars, having procured over 650,000 bars to date. The volume reflects both the depth of the commercial relationship and Malabar’s commitment to sourcing responsibly produced and accredited metal, consistent with the group’s ethos of ethical and responsible sourcing across its global supply chain.
Beyond minted bars, the partnership spans refining and the recycling of old jewellery, production of tailor-made precious metal products, and precious metals trading. Together these activities support the UAE’s precious metals ecosystem and reinforce Dubai’s position as a global centre for jewellery manufacturing and bullion trade.
