The magnificent Mohammed Bin Rashid Library, Dubai, welcomed friends, families, dignitaries, principals, Sheikhas, doctors, professors, parents, youths and children as 15-year-old Zahratul’Jannah Ahmed launched her first book, The Journey So Far.
A blend of lessons and experiences that have shaped Zahra, the book also serves as a roadmap for young people navigating an Internet age and a busy, distracting world—helping them find their footing, discover their passion and understand their path.
With Activity and Parent Corners at the end of each chapter, readers are encouraged to apply what they learn and turn reflection into action.
The event featured youth and student speaking and panel sessions, alongside Zahra’s Principal, proudly representing The Aquila School.
The Journey So Far is an interactive personal-development book helping young readers recognise their potential, build confidence and become intentional about their growth, while giving parents and educators practical tools to support young people in discovering their identity, interests and purpose.
The launch was honoured by Mr. Michael Adeniyi, Senior Special Assistant to the Nigerian Honourable Minister for Youth Development; Amb. Zayyan Ibrahim, Consul General of Nigeria, Dubai and Northern Emirates, UAE; Dr. Wedad Ahmed Bushanin, Founder and Chairperson of Read and Enjoy UAE; H.E. Sheikha Dr. Hind Bint Abdulaziz Al Qassimi; H.E. Yaqoob Al Ali, Mr. V. Bhushan, Managing Director, Standard Carpets Ind. LLC and Mr. Wayne Howsen, Principal, The Aquila School.
A book launched. A message shared. A journey continues.
